Precision Care When Seconds Count.
In life's most critical moments, specialized expertise and immediate medical response make all the difference. Our intensive care units are designed to provide the highest level of medical support for patients facing life-threatening illnesses, severe trauma, or complex post-surgical recoveries.
We operate distinct, highly specialized units tailored to specific physiological needs: a Level 3 Neonatal ICU (NICU) for our most fragile newborns, a Pediatric ICU (PICU) for growing children, and an Adult ICU. Each unit is equipped with advanced life-support technology and is manned around the clock by dedicated intensivists and critical care nurses.
Specialized ICU Departments
Neonatal ICU (NICU)
Level 3 intensive care providing thermal support, continuous monitoring, and ventilation for premature and critically ill newborns.
Pediatric ICU (PICU)
Tailored critical care for infants, children, and adolescents facing severe infections, trauma, or complex medical conditions.
Adult Intensive Care
Comprehensive life support and vigilant multi-organ monitoring for adults experiencing acute, life-threatening medical emergencies.
Advanced Respiratory Support
Expert management of acute respiratory failure using non-invasive (CPAP/BiPAP) and advanced invasive mechanical ventilation.
Cardiac & Hemodynamic Monitoring
Continuous real-time tracking of heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygenation to immediately detect and treat cardiovascular instability.
Post-Operative ICU
Intensive recovery and pain management for patients transitioning from major pediatric or adult surgical procedures.
Trauma & Emergency Care
Rapid stabilization, blood management, and intensive surgical coordination for patients admitted through our 24/7 casualty department.
Isolation & Infection Control
Strictly controlled isolation rooms equipped with advanced filtration to manage severe sepsis and prevent hospital-acquired infections.
Life-Saving Medical Interventions
The Intensive Care Unit represents the pinnacle of hospital care, combining cutting-edge medical technology with the profound expertise of dedicated specialists. In the ICU, every vital sign is tracked, and every treatment is precisely calibrated.
Continuous Observation
High-tech monitors provide real-time data, allowing our team to anticipate changes and react instantly to fluctuations in a patient's condition.
Multi-Disciplinary Expertise
Our intensivists collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, cardiologists, and pediatricians to build comprehensive, holistic treatment plans.
Infection Prevention
We maintain the highest standards of sterilization and environmental control to protect vulnerable patients from secondary infections.
The Critical Care Journey
Triage & Rapid Admission
Whether arriving from the emergency department, the operating room, or another ward, the patient is immediately assessed and transferred to the appropriate specialized ICU (NICU, PICU, or Adult).
Acute Stabilization
The immediate priority is securing the patient's airway, stabilizing breathing, and ensuring adequate blood circulation using medications, IV fluids, or mechanical ventilation if necessary.
Intensive Monitoring & Therapy
Once stable, the patient receives targeted therapies to treat the underlying condition. Vital signs, organ function, and neurological status are monitored continuously 24 hours a day.
Step-Down & Recovery
As the patient's condition improves and they are safely weaned off life-support systems, they are transitioned to a high-dependency unit (step-down ward) for continued observation.
Rehabilitation & Discharge
Before leaving the hospital, we initiate early physical and respiratory rehabilitation, providing the patient and family with a comprehensive plan for continued recovery at home.
Supporting Families in Critical Times
Having a loved one in the ICU is one of the most stressful experiences a family can face. We believe that compassionate communication and emotional support are just as vital as the medical care we provide.
Transparent Communication
Our medical team holds daily briefings with designated family members to explain treatment progress, test results, and what to expect next.
Compassionate Visitation
While infection control requires strict policies, we facilitate safe visitation to ensure patients feel the presence and support of their loved ones.
Psychological Support
We provide access to counseling and support services to help families navigate the anxiety and emotional toll of critical illness.
Emergency Warning Signs
Medical emergencies require immediate intervention. Do not wait for a scheduled appointment. Contact emergency services or rush to our 24/7 Accident & Emergency department if you or a loved one experience:
